On the East coast of Zante the small family-orientated resorts of Alykes and Alykanas. These have grown out along the golden sandy beach and are now almost merged, but still offer a village atmosphere unlike the livelier Zante resorts of Langanas or Tsilivi. Alykes and Alykanas are located on the East coast of Zante and share a long golden sandy stretch of the Zante coastline. This is an ideal location for families as the beach is safe for children and there are water sports available including Paragliding & Jet skis. The resorts offer a village atmosphere with traditional tavernas & friendly bars. |

Situated on the North East coast of Zante, the now established resort of Tsilivi is ideal for those seeking plenty of activities and a glorious long sandy beach. Tsilivi is especially recommended for families. Tsilivi is located 9km from the airport and 5km from the capital of this family focused Greek island. With a Blue Flag 2km sandy beach, Tsilivi is an excellent location for those seeking a classic beach holiday. There are plenty of activities for active kids such as water sports, go-carting, and horse riding. The resort hits a nice balance between tranquillity and fun, with a main street lined with friendly tavernas, bars and restaurants, plus ample shops. |

On the southernmost tip of the island stands a whitewashed lighthouse surrounded by cliffs offering spectacular views of the nearby limestone sea arches. This is Keri, whose stunning views, breathtaking sunsets and aquamarine grottos in the caves below draw visitors from all over the island. Situated on the southwest coast of the island, Keri has been careful in its development so as not to lose its charming air of tradition and culture. The lovely old village, situated on a green hill high above the liminaki (or 'little harbour') known as Keri Limni, is full of traditional stone houses, quiet narrow streets and its own exquisite little church. Beyond this is the lighthouse and the famous viewing point where the chance to take in some of the most dramatic sunsets imaginable is not to be missed. |

With some of the most beautiful and green countryside on Zante, the Vassilikos peninsula has one of the finest beaches of any of the Ionian Islands and so is a perfect destination for a family Zante holiday. The area is a nesting ground for the famous loggerhead turtle and a designated Marine Park. In addition to having some of the most beautiful and natural countryside on the island, the Vassilikos peninsula has several fine sandy beaches that are excellent for kids and beach bums. The area has not been subjected to the ravages of mass tourism and is a great place to go to if you enjoy a quieter holiday in beautiful natural surroundings. |
